(AP) – North Dakota’s state forensic examiner was fired earlier this month during an episode that drew law enforcement officers to her office in Bismarck.

An employee at the office told police that Dr. Barrie Miller was going to be fired and was “interrogating her” about it and also was “making homicidal comments.”

Officers from the North Dakota Highway Patrol and Bismarck police responded to the office on April 10. A human resources representative and state health official arrived and fired Miller.

The HR rep told police that Miller’s past comments about committing murder/suicide and running over employees “have ultimately led up to Miller being terminated.”
