(KNOX) – The Grand Forks School Board moved Monday to approve an estimate of $446,968 to improve the school exterior at Winship Elementary.
Superintendent Terry Brenner said the board moved to seek approval from the Department of Public Instruction an administrative recommendation to work on the roofs of Ben Franklin, Phoenix Elementary and Red River High Schools.
$1.4 million for that project will come from the district’s building fund.
Ground for the new Valley Middle School is scheduled to be broken at 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
