An 83 year old Valley City woman was flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo after being hit by a vehicle driven by an 85 year old man from Page (ND).
The North Dakota Patrol says the driver was parked facing south on a road in Valley City when he put the Expedition in reverse. The vehicle traveled counter-clockwise striking two unattended cars. It continued onto a sidewalk striking the pedestrian. The Expedition hit another unattended vehicle in a parking lot before coming to a stop after striking an apartment building.
All vehicles involved suffered moderate damage. The accident remains under investigation.
