Fargo Police: shooting and cold case updates

A person of interest in a downtown Fargo shooting Friday night is in police custody. Authorities say 24-year old Schuyler Ferguson turned himself in and has been charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
According to police officers responded to a male victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to the hospital with what were described as life-threatening injuries.
The FPD says Ferguson and the victim were known to each other and the incident followed an altercation.

Fargo police have arrested a 30-year old man in connection with an August 2020 drive-by shooting of Santino Marial.
Authorities say Joshua Brooks has been charged with aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit murder. Fargo Police Captain George Vinson says the case was never closed.
Brooks is currently being held in the Cass County Jail on a $1 million dollars cash bond.
