District 17 Republicans have selected Jonathan Sickler to fill the vacant seat left by the resignation of Senator Ray Holmberg.
Sickler is an attorney for Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services….AE2S. He will also be the endorsed candidate running for the seat in the November election. He was appointed by the District 17 Executive Committee.
Holmberg had previously announced plans to resign effective today (Wednesday) six months before the end of his term.
