A busy couple of days for the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Scattered ice is being blamed in part on a one vehicle fatality accident on I-94 east of Tappen (ND) on Sunday.  The NDHP says a pick-up driven by 20-year old Brett Harr of Steele (ND) left the road near exit ramp 221 and rolled.  Harr was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

On Saturday a semi driver sideswiped a snow plow on I-94 east of Jamestown.  The semi entered the ditch and overturned on its side.  The 32- year old Hawley (MN) truck driver was not injured.  The plow driver was also not hurt in the crash.

On Friday a 60-year old Montana truck driver was killed when his vehicle crashed into a tanker truck loaded with 165 barrels of salt water.  The accident occurred at a McKenzie County intersection.  The tanker driver was not injured.
