North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer and Texas Senator Ted Cruz have introduced legislation to ban federal mask and vaccine mandates.
The so-called No Mask Mandates and No Vaccine Mandates Act would end mask requirements on federal property and the CDC mandate on public transportation. It would also make it unlawful to require someone to receive any COVID-19 vaccine approved by the FDA for emergency use.
Cramer says Americans have more than enough information available to them on how to talk to their doctor and figure out what is best for themselves and their families.
According to the latest North Dakota Health dashboard 50.2% of residents 12 and older have received at least one dose of vaccine.
