By Doug Barrett Aug 4, 2021 | 7:16 AM

Update:

The quadruple murder trial of 47-year old Chad Isaak in Mandan (ND) is underway.  Isaak is accused of killing RJR Maintenance and Management co-owner Robert Fakler and three employees in April 2019.  The business is located in Mandan.

During opening argument the prosecution laid the groundwork for testimony in the case.  Defense Attorney Bruce Quick told jurors there is no motive…search warrants found nothing…and the prosecution has no DNA evidence.  Quick says law enforcement believed they solved the case in four days…spent weeks trying to prove it…they did not.  He added when the testimony is over he will ask the jury to find his client not guilty on all charges.

A jury of six men and six women has been seated in the case.  Isaak faces life in prison without parole.  The trial could last two weeks.
