North Dakota has administered over 250,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to date. State officials have issued a reminder to healthcare providers that vaccination of out-of-state residents must be limited to only those who live or work in North Dakota. Vaccination is also permitted for out-of-state residents who are established patients of North Dakota healthcare providers. Health Department Immunization Program Director Molly Howell says data indicates that hasn’t always been the case. “We are O-K with Moorhead and East Grand Forks but we had rumors of people coming from Minneapolis – even flying into Bismarck to get vaccinated.”
Howell says part of the problem is that each state has different priority groups -and that can cause some confusion.
