North Dakota deer hunters harvested around 29-thousand-300 deer during the 2016 hunting season. Game and Fish officials released data today (Mon) suggesting the overall success rate was 66-percent. The Department made available some 49-thousand deer gun licenses last year. Overall each hunter spent an average of four-point-four days in the field.

Hunter success for antlered white tail deer was 72-percent…..60-percent for antlerless.

A record 26-thousand-755 archery licenses were issued with a success rate of 43-percent.
