Another sluggish month for boardings at the Grand Forks Airport. The number of passengers through the G-F-K continues to trail year ago levels. In fact the eight-thousand-446 passengers who passed through the gates in September was the smallest number since September 2009.
According to the North Dakota Aeronautics Commission year-to-date travel in 2017 is off 12-percent from last year. Boardings are also down over 24-thousand from the record set in 2013.
By comparison statewide travel has slipped just over one-percent.
