The Grand Forks Fire Department was able to quickly knock down a hot dryer before flames spread to other parts of a mobile home this afternoon. The fire at 2446 Cumberland Road was reported shortly after 2:30 p.m. Damage from the blaze was limited and the smoke was cleared from the structure. The residents along with their pets were able to remain in the home. The accidental fire was due to combustibles coming in contact with heat tape.
