There will likely be at least one new face on the East Grand Forks City Council following the November 8th Election.
Candidate races are set in two of three open seats after Tuesday’s filing deadline. The Ward 2 race features three candidates: Ben Pokrzywinski….Karen Peterson…and incumbent Clarence Vetter.
Redistricting will pit two current members against each other in Ward 4. Both Dale Helms and Tim Johnson are seeking a four-year terms.
No one filed for the At-Large seat currently held by Mark DeMers. The ballot will include a blank line for potential write-in candidates.
