The Chancellor of the North Dakota University System has been given a new two year contract – and a raise.
The state Board of Higher Education made the decision after an executive – or closed – session with Chancellor Mark Hagerott.
NDUS Board President Dr. Casey Ryan says Hagerott has led the system through some difficult years. “We do appreciate what the chancellor has done…he’s a great visionary.”
Hagerott will get a 2.7 percent raise.

The board also reviewed the contracts for presidents in the university system as part of a compensation analysis that’s underway.
