Former Grand Forks and Fargo sportscaster Scott Miller and longtime Bottineau sportscaster Les Halvorson have been elected to the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Hall of Fame.

Miller, a Minot native, worked at KNOX from 1992 to 1995 covering UND sports, then spent 20 years in Fargo calling games of the NDSU football and basketball teams, as well as the F-M RedHawks baseball team. Miller died in 2016 at the age of 57.

Halvorson worked in Mayville and Grafton before moving to Bottineau in 1980.
