A 50-year old Bismarck woman is hospitalized with serious injuries after falling out of a moving vehicle at the Thompson Landing Recreational Area east of Williston. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the incident occurred Wednesday night shortly after 6:30 p-m.
Authorities say 42-year old Joshua Olson of Dickinson (ND) was making a U-turn while backing up when his passenger fell out of the 1995 van. Connie Vyse was transported via Valley Med Life Flight to Trinity Hospital in Minot. Olson was charged with D-U-I. Vyse was not wearing a seat-belt.
A 20-year old truck driver from Bismarck escaped injury when
he overturned his rig on Highway 83 near Hazelton (ND) on Wednesday. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Trajan
Jangula was attempting to turn into a Cenex gas station when the load of cattle
he was hauling shifted. The vehicle
overturned onto its side. The trailer
was loaded with 72 head of cattle. A
total of 13 animals were killed or euthanized as a result of injuries sustained
in the crash.
A 43-year old Maplewood (MN) man was killed when the vehicle he was driving struck another vehicle before slamming into a tree. The Minnesota Highway Patrol says the 43 year old victim crossed the center line of Highway 84 in Cass County shortly after 6:30 p-m last night. The vehicle sideswiped a pickup before running off the road and into the tree. The 70-year old driver of the pickup was not injured.
