A 35-year old man was injured when the semi he was driving collided with a train on a rural road west of York (ND) on Monday afternoon (12:35 pm).
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Joseph Hendrix of Knox (ND) was driving the rig from a Benson County farmstead to a grain elevator in York when the crash occurred. The force of the 72 unit train sheared the semi in half.
Hendrix was transported to a medical center in Rugby with non-life threatening injuries. No one of the B-N-S-F train was injured.
