North Dakota health officials have confirmed five new deaths related to COVID-19.
The latest victims include a man and a woman from Burleigh County… a man and a woman from Eddy County… and a man from McLean County, all with underlying health conditions. Ages range from the 60s to the 80s.
North Dakota’s death toll is now 177.
The state identified 269 new cases in 35 counties…led by Cass County with 80… and 49 in Williams County. Only four new positive hits came from Grand Forks County.
Total positive cases since the pandemic began: 16,333.
Active cases number 2,528…208 in Grand Forks County.
62 people are currently hospitalized.
Minnesota’s case count went up by 513 to 85,813 (with 4 new cases in Polk County). Seven new deaths were reported. (Total: 1,933)
