ND & MN COVID-19

Today’s (Wed’s) report from the North Dakota health department shows 227 new COVID-19 cases in the state. That’s down 21 from Tuesday.

Cass County tops today’s list with 42 cases, while Grand Forks County has 13.

The state positivity rate is down more than a point to 3.33 percent.

There are 1,749 active cases (down 14 from Tuesday)…including 151 cases in Grand Forks County.

Two new deaths were reported. (ND death toll: 1,357.)

72 are hospitalized, with 10 in ICU.

Minnesota has 1,504 new cases and 50 new deaths, including a Polk County resident. (MN death toll: 5,774.)

665 Minnesotans are hospitalized, including 129 in intensive care.
