ND Fatal - Accident

A motorcyclist was killed when his bike hit an animal in the road northeast of Center (ND) last night. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the 61-year old Hazen (ND) man was heading west on Highway 200-A when the lost control and rolled into the ditch. The accident occurred around 9:40 p-m. The driver was not wearing a helmet. He died at the scene. The H-P did not release what type of animal was involved in the crash.
A two vehicle accident in northwest Minnesota’s Lake of the Woods County sent three people to the hospital on Monday.
The Minnesota Highway Patrol says 39-year old Shawn Cameron of Faribault (MN) was traveling north on Highway 72 when he crossed the center line and side-swiped a southbound car. The accident was reported shortly before seven a-m. Cameron was transported to Lakewood Health Center in Baudette (MN) with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
