North Dakota health officials reported 91 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, pushing the state to record a new high in active cases. The Department of Health tallied 1,129 people with active cases of the coronavirus a day after it reported the most cases in a single day, with 181 on Saturday. Over the past two weeks, the rolling average number of daily new cases has increased by 11, an increase of 9%. Over the course of the pandemic, 7,596 people have tested positive for COVID-19, but about 84% have recovered. 112 people have died after contracting COVID-19.

After investigation it was discovered that a case from Cass County was from out of state and a case from Grand Forks County and Williams County were duplicates.
