MN Recreational Marijuana

A Minnesota Senate committee may have snuffed out hopes of passing a recreational marijuana bill this session. The Senate Judiciary Committee voted six-to-three to reject legalized pot.
Leili Fatehi of Minnesotans for Responsible Marijuana Regulation says there is a lot of misinformation being spread by opponents.
But Teresa Lunt of the group Partnership for Change wasn’t convinced it’s the right move for Minnesota. Lunt says regulated markets only promote the use of marijuana among young people. She adds Colorado has more dispensaries than Starbucks and McDonalds combined.
Ten states and the District of Columbia currently allow recreational pot. The vote came along party lines….Republicans voting against the move…..Democrats supporting it.
