A traffic stop along I-94 near Fergus Falls (MN) this past weekend netted law enforcement 67 firearms and a stash of ammunition.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s office a state trooper pulled the pick-up over for traveling at speeds approaching 100 mph. After providing authorities with false I-D’s two Canadian men were arrested and detained.
A criminal complaint says the vehicle was searched after officers detected the odor of marijuana. The suspects were eventually identified as 29-year old Dayne Sitladeen and 29-year old Muzamil Addow. According to the criminal complaint Sitladeen initially told law enforcement he was traveling to Fargo for a construction job.
Authorities say Sitladeen has a Canadian arrest warrant for first degree homicide and fentanyl distribution. Addow has outstanding felony arrest warrants in Canada for firearms offenses and kidnapping.
