GF Gas Prices

With a hit to five percent of the world's daily oil production - motorists are preparing to feel the pinch at the pump. Gas prices are expected to rise in the coming weeks following an attack on Saudi Arabia's oil infrastructure over the weekend. While crude oil prices spiked on Monday, analyst Patrick DeHaan at GasBuddy says he doesn't think the temporary loss of nearly six-million barrels-a-day poses too much of a threat to gasoline supply:
"I don't expect this to be as bad as some of the refinery kinks and outages we've seen in years past but it will still likely cost motorists anywhere from 10 to 25 cents a gallon more."
Prices at some Grand Forks stations shot up 18 cents a gallon this afternoon to $2.59 cents a gallon.
