Coronavirus Heart Campaign

Many North Dakota families have been posting on social media photos of hearts that were hung up in windows of houses, apartment buildings, hospitals, nursing homes and businesses.
It’s dubbed #a world of hearts. The hearts are different sizes and different colors. The goal is to show support during a time of social distancing.
And the state of North Dakota is getting into it as well. Governor Doug Bergum says last night the south side of the capitol building had window lights on in the shape of a heart. He says we should all keep the hearts flowing.
Burgum adds the COVID-19 threat is stressful. He says while social distancing is the new norm he also urges people to stay connected through other means: phone…skype…email…and writing letters.
