One person was killed in a collision between a car and a snowplow southeast of Grafton.
The North Dakota Highway
Patrol said it happened around 12:30 PM Wednesday on I-29, about 20 miles
southeast of Grafton.
Troopers say a southbound ND-DOT
snowplow was pulling a plow trailer, pre-treating the road for icy conditions.
Authorities say the snowplow –
with emergency lights activated -- was
struck from behind by a Honda Accord.
The driver of the Accord
suffered fatal injuries and was taken to Unity Hospital in Grafton. The driver
was not identified.
A release from the Highway Patrol said a 44-year-old Drayton man was driving the snowplow, but no injuries were reported.
