(KNOX) – A Grand Forks man was sentenced this week to 30 years in prison, first serving 20 years, for the rape of a 12-year-old girl.
Jayden Perales,18, pleaded guilty in June to two counts of Class AA felony gross sexual imposition for forcing a sexual act.
Court documents state that when Perales was 17 during a party at his home in June of last year, he forced a 12-year-old to engage in two sexual acts, and forced himself on her despite her refusal, according to the girl’s statement.
