Funeral services are scheduled Friday for the father of North Dakota First Lady Kathryn Helgaas Burgum.
Maynard Helgaas of West Fargo died Tuesday of complications from Alzeheimer’s Disease. The longtime Jamestown resident was 87.
Maynard Helgaas was born in Fertile (MN), attended high school in Crookston, and graduated from NDSU.
In 2012, the longtime agri-businessman was inducted into the North Dakota Agriculture Hall of Fame.
His funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at St. James Basilica in Jamestown.
