NDHP: weekend crashes continue to pile up

A motorcycle-van crash north of Larimore Saturday night (6:30 p.m.) injured a 69-year old Stanley (ND) man.
The North Dakota Patrol says Steven Rambel was heading south on Highway 18 and failed to yield at the intersection of Highway 2 striking the van. Rambel was transported to Altru Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The 58-year old driver of the van was not hurt.

A Sunday night crash involving two motorcycles in Fargo sent one biker to the hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.
The North Dakota Patrol reports both motorcycles were heading south of South University Drive when one lost control throwing the rider to the ground. The second motorcycle struck the rider on the first bike and was tossed as well.
The injured party was identified as a 21-year old Fargo woman. No other details were provided.

A one car crash southwest of Stanley (ND) early this morning injured a 19-year old driver and passenger. The North Dakota Patrol says the vehicle traveled through an intersection of Highway 8 and vaulted off the end of the south approach. After rolling multiple times the vehicle came to rest on the passenger side. The two Minnesota men were transported to Trinity Health in Minot with serious injuries.
