The Grand Forks County Commission has approved an architectural services contract with ICON for design on the correction center expansion project.
The budget is set at $20 million dollars. The fee for services will be 7.25% of the project cost. The contract covers a 36 month time frame.
The expansion will add an additional pod to the jail and construct a new juvenile detention center.
