A 58-year old Woodbury (MN) man was killed in a single vehicle crash in northwest Minnesota’s Beltrami County on Monday.  The Minnesota Highway Patrol says Shaun Omalley was heading south on Highway 72 when he lost control of the 1998 Jeep Wrangler and rolled into the ditch. The accident was reported shortly before 11:00 a.m. and remains under investigation.

A rollover crash in rural Polk County on Monday injured a 28-year old woman and two children.  The Polk County Sheriff’s office responded to the crash site south of Crookston.  When deputies arrived they found the vehicle on its roof.  Authorities found Cassandra Meine of Beltrami (MN) and two kids ages 6 and 3 outside the vehicle with injuries.  All three were transported to Riverview in Crookston.  The crash remains under investigation.

Update:

A 71-year-old Fort Rice (ND) man died after the farm sprayer he was driving along the right edge of a roadway was rear-ended by a minivan. The crash happened at about 7:30 a.m. Monday on Highway 1806, about three miles south of the town of Huff. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 71-year-old Kenneth Miller was driving the spray coupe when it was rear-ended. Both vehicles spun clockwise into the east ditch and Miller was ejected from the spray coupe. He died at the scene.  Troopers say Miller was not wearing a seat belt. The 89-year-old driver of the minivan, Robert Stanley of Mandan was taken to a Bismarck hospital.

A 74-year old Linton (ND) man sustained serious injuries when he crashed his pick-up in Emmons County Monday evening.  The North Dakota Highway Patrol says Donald Jahner was heading south on Highway 83 when he entered the west ditch.  The NDHP says the vehicle rolled an unknown number of times.  Jahner was airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.   The accident remains under investigation.
