The North Dakota football team will put a 10-game Potato Bowl winning streak on the line Saturday when South Dakota State comes to town for a 6:05 p.m. kickoff at the Alerus Center.
North Dakota and South Dakota State have met just once as Division I foes, but the old North Central Conference rivals will be playing for the 85th time on Saturday in a series history that dates back to 1906. UND owns a 46-33-5 edge in the series.
This will be SDSU’s first trip to Grand Forks since the 2001 season when UND defeated the Jacks 44-9 in the opening year of the Alerus Center.
