Natalie Martinson is resigning after seven years as UND’s head women’s golf coach.
The school says Martinson is retiring from coaching to pursue other professional opportunities in Grand Forks.
Martinson is a former UND golfer and was assistant men’s and women’s coach for three years before becoming head women’s coach.
During her tenure as the head coach, 16 Fighting Hawks garnered WGCA All-America Scholar Team accolades, 26 were named to the yearly Big Sky All-Academic Teams and seven times UND had a student-athlete named the Big Sky Golfer of the Week.
