After splitting a series with Colorado College, UND's hockey team fell from eighth to ninth in this week's U.S. College Hockey Online poll.

Notre Dame maintains the top spot, while Denver remains second. St. Cloud State rose a notch to third. Minnesota gained two spots to 10th.

Meanwhile, the NCHC named UND's Peter Thome as its goalie of the week, while teammate Christian Wolanin is the defenseman of the week.

Thome started Saturday’s 5-1 win over the Tigers, making 20 of 21 saves. He also came off the bench one night earlier in UND’s 4-2 loss, turning aside 14 of the 15 shots he faced.

Wolanin led all NCHC defensemen on the weekend with three points, including a penalty shot goal in Friday’s 4-2 loss to CC. He also assisted on UND’s first two goals, both on the power play, during Saturday’s victory.

UND plays at 13th-rated Omaha this weekend.
