University of north Dakota president Robert Kelley has announced the site selection for the new 123-million dollar medical school and health sciences building. A six member committee has been looking at various sites on campus since the funding was secured during the recent legislative session. The med school will sit on an eight-point-two acre plot on the southwest corner of the intersection of north Columbia road and gateway drive. Groundbreaking for the new facility is expected to take place in july 2014 with completion of the building by the summer of 2016.
