A meth lab bust in Thompson (ND) has landed a 32-year old woman and a 33-year old man in jail. The Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force went to the home on a probation search and encountered a 14-year old babysitter and four-year old child. Drug agents found numerous items associated with a meth lab in the garage. The investigation also determined the couple had purchased large amounts of cold medicine used in manufacturing meth. The Grand Forks Sheriff’s Department says Amanda Rocha was contacted at work and was arrested when she arrived at the house. Rocha is being charged with child neglect. Agents later located and charged James Hume with manufacutirng meth…child neglect…and drug paraphernalia.
