University of North Dakota students have elected Cole Bachmeier and Erik Hanson as President and Vice-President of student government. The unofficial returns show the pair captured one-thousand-737 votes out of three-thousand-355 ballots cast. That was nearly 200 votes more than any other candidates. Nearly one in four students voted in this week’s election. Bachmeier is listed as a Chemical Engineering Major.
In addition to the top ticket ten University Senators were selected in this week’s balloting. They assume office before the spring semester ends.
