The University of North Dakota will seek approval this week for a 550-thousand dollar parking lot west of Robin Hall. The project would be funded by the U-N-D Aerospace Foundation and sit along James Ray drive and University Avenue.
University officials say providing new parking lots with privately raised funds while removing deteriorating spaces is part of the overall master plan. U-N-D has identified 127 existing parking spaces to come offline as part of a separate demo project in 2018 and 2019.
The Budget and Finance Committee is scheduled to take up the request today.
