Wanted….a new superintendent of Grand Forks schools. Current boss Larry Nybladh has informed the district that he plans to retire effective June 30th of 2018. In a letter to the school board Nybladh says the decision comes with a “twinge of sadness” but the “time is right for my family” in making the decision. Nybladh has been involved in education for 37 years – including 30 as a school superintendent. He signed on with Grand Forks District in 2008 after a stint running the Moorhead school system. The school board is expected to accept the letter of resignation at their meeting on Monday and lay the course of action for finding the next superintendent.
