A pair of early morning fires were reported in Polk County on Wednesday.
Authorities say a trailer home in McIntosh at about 3:35 AM sustained moderate damage. The 65-year-old female occupant was taken to a Fosston hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Then around 4:00 AM, another fire caused moderate damage to a single-family home in Climax.
The Polk County sheriff’s office says no one was injured, but all four occupants – a 33-year-old mother and three children – were treated at a Crookston hospital for smoke inhalation.
The causes of both fires are under investigation.
