The Minnesota Highway Patrol is investigating a couple of Labor Day weekend crashes in the northwestern part of the state.
A 36-year old Gygla (MN) woman failed to stop on a long driveway in dense fog and crossed Highway 89 into the ditch on the opposite side of the road on Saturday. A 61-year old female passenger was brought to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.
Around six-30 p-m a 41-year old Alden (MN) woman veered off Highway 219 in Marshall County and rolled – the car coming to rest of its roof. The driver was transported to a Thief River Falls Hospital with injuries.
