A 42-year old Fargo man escaped injury after crashing his pickup into a series of garages on Sunday.
The North Dakota Patrol says John Overboe was attempting to park his vehicle at an apartment complex when he suffered a medical issue. During the event the pickup remained in drive and the accelerator was depressed. The vehicle drove through the back wall into a second garage while side swiping a vehicle. The pickup exited one garage and entered the second unit though the main door and crossed the parking lot striking a third garage before becoming disabled.
No other individuals were involved in the accident. The NDHP says there was significant damage to all three garage units. Authorities say no charges are expected to be filed.
