The North Dakota Highway Patrol says two California men were arrested on drug charges, after a Wednesday afternoon traffic stop led to the discovery of 70 pounds of packaged marijuana.
The Patrol stopped their vehicle on I-94 near Fargo. Troopers say the marijuana has an estimated street value of 115-thousand-dollars.
The H-P says the driver, Jakeb Ward of Rio Dell, California, and the passenger, Christopher Bieniek of Fortuna, California, were arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia.
