A 41-year old Rugby (ND) man was killed when the S-U-V he was driving was hit by a train early this morning (12:15 a-m). According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol the victim was stopped near a barricade in Rugby (ND) waiting for the train. The S-U-V then accelerated and went around the barricade and was struck on the passenger side. The driver was ejected and died at the scene. Two B-N-S-F employees on the train were not injured.
