By Doug Barrett Mar 12, 2021 | 11:55 AM

North Dakota Republicans in District 36 have appointed Dori Hauck to fill the vacant seat created by last week’s House removal of former GOP Representative Luke Simons.

The District Committee announced the selection today.  Dori Hauck along with her husband, Doug, own and operate a ranch in rural Richardton. She was elected Secretary/Treasurer for the District 36 Republicans in 2012 and continues to hold that position.

Simons was expelled for allegedly threatening and sexually harassing women at the Capitol.
