Supporters of the ballot measure to legalize recreational marijuana in North Dakota have launched a new media blitz to encourage a “yes” vote.
The Yes on 2 effort includes a grassroots tour of cities across the state to deliver yard signs and campaign materials.
The group – New Approach North Dakota – has also released a pair of 60 second ads encouraging passage of Measure #2.
The campaign submitted more than the required 15,582 valid petition signatures to put the measure on the November general election ballot.
The initiative would allow people 21 and older to legally use marijuana at home as well as possess and cultivate restricted amounts of cannabis.
