Four separate crashes claimed four lives over the weekend in North Dakota. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 28-year old Derek Thompson of Rollette (ND) was killed when he failed to negotiate a curve east of Lake Metigoshe Saturday afternoon. Authorities say Thompson’s motorcycle struck a sign support and he was ejected from the bike.
A pick-up rollover in Williams County Saturday night killed 40-year old Adam Knudson of Deering (ND).
According to the H-P a 24-year old man died when he collided with a black angus bull in the roadway south of Flasher. Authorities say Blake Huber of McIntosh (SD) was not wearing a seat-belt.
On Sunday a 69-year old man died when he was run over by his own truck in Williams County. Authorities say Clarence Cunningham got out of the vehicle -the truck began to roll - he attempted to climb back inside and slipped off the running board.
