A 30-year old Forest River (ND) woman was killed when her S-U-V left the roadway and crashed into the Forest River on Monday. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol the accident occurred one mile south of Minto around 7:40 a-m. Authorities say the vehicle broke through the ice and came to rest upside down - partially submerged in the water. The driver died at the scene. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of relatives.
