A Grand Forks murder investigation has resulted in prison sentences for meth trafficking. The U-S Attorney’s office says 34 year old Christopher Ringsrud-Knowles or Arvilla…26-year old Daniel Rodriguez of Crookston…and 27-year old Aaron Morado of Grand Forks have been sentenced in U-S District Court before Judge Ralph Erickson. Rodriguez received a seven year sentence…Morado will spend seven-and-a-half years in jail….and Ringsrud-Knowles picked up a 50-month sentence for Evidence Tampering. The case came to the attention of law enforcement after the shooting death of Austin Forsman at the Flying J truck stop in Grand Forks in March 2016. The investigation has resulted in 13 individuals being charged in Federal Court.
Co-defendant Krystal Feist pled guilty in February to Murder in a Drug Trafficking Conspiracy. Feist is scheduled for sentencing in August.
