MN legislative budget compromise released

A budget framework has been announced between the governor and top legislative leaders in Minnesota.

The blueprint released today (Monday) comes with the end of the legislative session a week away. Although many of the details still need to be ironed out it includes $4 billion to invest in education, public safety, and health care, and $4 billion for a tax bill to provide financial relief for Minnesotans.

Governor Tim Walz…House Speaker Melissa Hortman…and Senate Majority Leader Jeremy Miller have signed off on the agreement.
